Charles grew up in small-town Eastern North Carolina and attended UNC-Chapel Hill as a Morehead-Cain Scholar. For more than four decades, he's designed insurance solutions for some of the Carolinas' most successful families and businesses - work that's earned him decades-long recognition in the Million Dollar Round Table's Top of the Table, the industry's highest honor.

He's deeply involved in Charlotte's business community and serves as a longtime deacon at Myers Park Baptist Church. Charles and his wife Debbie have been married for over 40 years and have two adult children, both living in Charlotte. When he's not working, you'll find him traveling or at their place on the North Carolina coast.
